Awhitu Regional Park is a very nice place to visit. Pukekohe has a good range of good quality restaurants.

Also close to Motorway as we were heading to Hamilton next day. I only spent one night and part of a day there, but as my daughter lives in Waiuku I will be back and will stay at Pukekohe Motel as it's a fabulous establishment, and the staff are great. Overall it seems like a nice little place to stay and on my return, I will explore more. For a young man, his character and people skills are well-developed and enjoyable to relate with. Loved waking up to birds chirping and fresh coffee, opening the curtains to a beautiful view and farm animals.
